Alyssa’s Summer Senior Session ~ Woodbury, MN Senior Photographer

I always have the pleasure of doing a few senior photo sessions a year.  I do not specialize in seniors but I absolutely love photographing them when they are up for my style.  I love outdoor sessions with a little bit of vintage and rustic twist to them:) For this session we did some at a barn location and the other half of the session at one of my favorite downtown areas of Stillwater, MN.  Here are a few sneak peeks of Alyssa’s session.  Enjoy!

Dan & Sally’s Romantic Vintage Inspired Wedding ~ MN/WI Wedding

I was honored to meet Sally and Dan last year when they met me for coffee to talk about their wedding day they both had dreamed of.  I felt like we were old friends getting together to talk.  It was fun the past year watching Sally and Dan plan their beautiful wedding but also seeing their Facebook posts to each other who were deeply in love with each other.  These two were meant to be together!  They had a beautiful hot summer day for their wedding which took place at St. Patrick Parish in Hudson, Wisconsin surrounded by family and friends.  We had fun with the wedding party for photos downtown Stillwater and then their reception was at the Grand in Stillwater, MN.  I remember them telling me about their taste and love for vintage and old inspired decor.  They loved the stained glass windows at both their church and the reception site and they included tastes of vintage in their attire and accessories throughout their day.  I was honored to capture their beautiful day and had fun meeting the wedding party and family.  I hope you enjoy the photos!

Mari & Travis’s Wedding Day ~ Sunshine, Love, Dancing, & Fun

I have known Mari for many years.  We grew up playing soccer together with her Dad coaching us and played all through high school together.  I was honored to have Mari a part of my wedding day and was so excited when she asked me to capture hers through photography.  For Mari and Travis it was “about time” they got married.  They have been together for about 9 years and are perfect for each other.  Their wedding day took place at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course in River Falls WI and was absolutely perfect.  It was a sunny day with a few clouds in the sky and when the ceremony started a few rain drops fell when they were walking down the aisle and then the sun came out:)  I hope you enjoy a few of their pictures that captured their day!

Sarah & Daryl Wedding ~ Sunshine…Love…Rain…and a Sunset

I first met Sarah and Daryl about a year ago when we met to discuss wedding photography.  Daryl had a list of questions lined up for me and we all hit it off with laughter and fun the first time we met.  I am so glad they chose me to be their photographer and capture their beautiful day.  I was thrilled to photograph a wedding at a new venue called Mystical Rose Gardens in Baldwin, WI.  It was perfect and Sarah had so many special details she created for their special day.  I was honored to capture their entire day.  I hope you enjoy the pictures!:)

Love + Laughter + Family + Friends ~ Katie Jo and Bret’s Stunning Rustic Wedding

I have been pondering what words could best describe Katie Jo and Bret’s magical day.  It was absolutely beautiful and they were blessed to have so many wonderful family and friends surround them with laughter, love and fun! I could tell you how stunning Katie Jo was in her dress and how beautiful she was and how great Bret looked in his tux and how excited he was to see Katie Jo.  Because they were!  I could tell you all about the location they were married that fit their day with perfection with charm, rustic, and character.  The Blue Horse Farm in New Richmond, WI had a beautiful barn, horses, outdoor seating area for the ceremony, a bridal suite, and gorgeous outdoor landscaping.  I could tell you all about the details they put into their special day with their initials, signs, flowers, cupcakes, cakes, yummy food,…. What I really want to tell you is how much these two are meant to be together and how their vows made me get teary eyed with the love they have for each other.  They wrote beautiful notes to each other for before the ceremony and waited to see each other until Katie Jo was ready to walk down the aisle with her father by her side.  It was all filled with love and emotion and the people surrounding them were there to share in this joy and support them.  The weather was warm and the sunset was gorgeous in the evening.  As the sun was going down the dancing and party continued with fun and laughter in the air at The Blue Horse Farm.  Katie Jo and Bret I wish you many years of laughter, love and happiness and thank you for letting me capture your day! I hope you enjoy the slide show.
